This Represents A Net Value To The Grower Of $78.50/Acre, Or 15.7x The ESN Investment.
Kent Bridge, ON. 50 Lbs of N/ acre ESN Blend = 50/50 blend with urea
ESN’s protective coating is ideal for ensuring your crop gets the nitrogen (N) it needs, when it needs it most. The N stays protected from loss and is released based on soil temperature, the same driver as crop growth and N demand.
The trial above shows an increase of nearly 5 bu/acre, or 2.88 cwt/acre based on 60 Lbs/bu. Based on a price of $29/cwt, this represents a gross value to the grower of $83.50/acre. Assuming a $0.20/Lb N premium for ESN, the ESN blend would have cost the grower $5/acre more than urea.
