Mike Amundson, Retailer, Minnesota

Minnesota retailer Mike Amundson recommends ESN to his growers to help them extend the nitrogen life in their corn plants. This past fall he did a comparative study with 150 pounds of ESN versus 150 pounds of fall anhydrous with N-serve, and found that in July the anhydrous corn was firing three leaves while the ESN wasn’t firing at all. He also found that ESN produced bigger kernels and a yield increase of 15-20 bushels. ESN lasts until the end of the season, providing the best return on investment while also being safer for the environment
