See the ESN Difference, Right in the Field

David Dahl does his homework. “I am getting much better efficiency from my fertilizer. I can go to my yield maps and prove to you how much better it’s been since we started using ESN.”

The Verona, North Dakota farmer has 6,500 acres in corn and pinto beans, as well as soybeans and barley. He also runs cattle, hay and pasture.

“David is always looking for the next best thing and so am I,” says Aaron Seykora, agronomist, Dakota Plains Ag Center. Whether it’s bigger bushels and more money or helping the environment and doing the right thing.”

Dahl is very happy with the results. “The simple farmer answer: you put ESN out and the environment is what will  [determine the] release [of] the nitrogen.”

They have been using ESN for 10 years. Prior to that, they used a product they would apply onto the urea specifically. “When we learned about ESN and the polymer coating, even on the handling side, we knew it was going to be a better fit,” says Seykora. He says the benefits can be seen and believed in the field. “You can physically, visually see it even six, eight weeks after application. We know it is there with that coating waiting to be released.”
