ESN Produces Greater Yield and Profit When Spring Side Band Applied

A study conducted by Alberta Agriculture demonstrated greater canola yield responsiveness with ESN Smart Nitrogen than conventional urea nitrogen (N).

Both ESN and urea were applied as side-band applications at varying rates. Canola yields increased at low and moderate rates of ESN application, whereas canola only responded to urea N at the highest application rate. In fact – there was generally little canola response to urea N, while canola yield increased significantly with the application of N as ESN.
